When discussing our bird's nest, Loren and I had the following exchange: 'Mama, where do the baby birds go after they leave the nest?" Well, honey, it is kinda like when you go to college, they will go away and come back just to visit. "Mama, I'm gonna go to community college so I never have to leave." CRAP!
The Aforementioned Birds: For a few years now, we've had a family of robins come and nest. This year was really excited because Loren can understand the entire process. This year, we were lucky enough to watch the birds get pushed out of their nest. The fledgling process was amazing, which led us to the above conversation.
