The Fourth of July BELATED

So, the fourth of July was a great time with our families. I just realized I never posted these pictures. Some are very funny. It was Cora's first weekend in the water: she loved it. Ya Ya, Abby, Davis, and the girls had a blast at the Donley place.

The cousins and Ya Ya swimming together. The synchronized jump was the best and not very synchronized.

So we forgot the swim diaper, and I couldn't resist. This is most certainly bribe material.

The frog/fish pond is also a big draw. Almost as big a draw as the pool.

And as usualy, Cora is eating.

Fun at Auntie Suzies

We went to Loon Lake to spend time with the Swetts: Suzanne, Sami, Ciera, Gabe and Quentin. Loren spent the time with the boys; she went fishing and caught a fish or two.

Cora spent time in the pool on the dock and keeping us on our toes. The rest of the day the boys and Loren road in the paddle boat, jumped on the trampoline and tried to surf. It was hot and a ton of fun.

Pizza Fun and More

Loren and her friends got to go to Papa Murphey's Pizza for a field trip. They got to learn how to make all the ingredients. The best part was that they got to make their very own pizza.

Cora just visited with everyone.

Loren makin' her masterpiece: Olive and Cheese Pizza.

The kids and their tour guide, Will.

The Need For Music Already?

Cora found Loren's MP3 player and knew what to do with it. That is just wrong or incredibly advanced.

This is just too funny to miss

Cora loves to eat. Apparently, I wasn't fast enough. She found a Mac n Cheese box and chewed a hole in it. Then, she began eating the noodles. Hmmm...this could be a bad sign.

Hot Summer Days

100 degrees was just too hot to stay at home. We also knew that the pool was going to be crazy with people. So, the Lockwood-Osterman Clan, the Hugget-Regele Clan and the Donleys all went to Lake Roosevelt for a little coolness.

The kids used the innertube to play Water War games. That was fun and refreshing.

The Wake Boards became pseudo surf boards. Just a little loungin' and hangin' 10.

Surprisingly, we had to eat. Cora decided that the dip was war paint, I guess.

Then, nap time.

What a great day.

The Day with the Horses

Loren, Cora, Abby and Davis went to see "Aunty" Sandy's horses: Cowboy and Slick. Loren got to ride for the first time. She was in love. Loren has decided that she is going to be a horse trainer when she grows up, that is when she is not being a Paleontologist. Cora had fun, too. She just ate dirt. It was a really hot day, but it was fun had by all.

The Olympic Career Begins

Loren played her second soccer game on Thursday. It was amazing; I must say. The halves are 15 minutes, which seems like forever. Loren only went the wrong way once. All the girls had a blast. Loren's team, the Sprites, scored 5 goals to every one of the other team. The bright green team is Loren's. Could they be any brighter? I am really proud of her, and I believe I have become a member of the cult:)
